Samsung has started rolling out the December 2022 Android security patch update for Galaxy A23 5G smartphone users. This update is initially rolling out in South America with users living in Brazil are first to grab it.

As per the information, Samsung’s December 2022 patch update mainly focuses on improving the security and stability of your phone to offer improved system functionality.

At the same time, it also fixes 80 privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities. These include 5 critical, 60 high, and 2 moderate levels of CVEs from Google’s Android OS and 13 Galaxy-specific vulnerabilities that were affecting various One UI apps and services.

Other than these improvements, there is nothing major that the update changelog notes. However, you might notice some other improvements for One UI 5.0 features that you have received in an earlier software update.

Furthermore, Samsung is releasing the Galaxy A23 December 2022 update with One UI build version A236MUBU2BVL1. As mentioned, it’s rolling out in Brazil at the present time, however, the company should not take much time to spread it to more users in the rest of other regions.
