Samsung’s going to conclude the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update rollout in a few more days. Like last year, no big issue or bug prevented the company from continuing its Android 13’s expansion. However, some Fitbit Charge 5 and Fitbit Luxe users reported having issues with the sync feature post-One UI 5 upgrade.

According to the info (via PiunikaWeb), the sync function of Fitbit Charge 5 & Fitbit Luxe is not working on some Samsung devices, mostly the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold, after upgrading to Android 13-based One UI 5 software. And reportedly, Fitbit confirmed that the issue will be fixed in early 2023.

Fitbit moderator commented on a thread that the team has identified the root cause of the bug, which defects the sync function with affected devices. Since the team is already working on the development of a fix, it will be released to users via app update in early 2023.

Notably, Samsung’s Android 13-based One UI 5 update has not any kind of bug that is preventing the app from its operations like sync. However, it seems like the Fitbit app is not compatible with foldable phones due to which the sync feature is not working.

Users having affected smartphones reported that they have even tried resetting the device, cleaning app cache & data, restarting the app, re-pairing the wearable and so on. Meanwhile, the issue remains persistent, and apparently requires some code changes for seamless operations.
