Dec. 22// Samsung has started rolling out a new firmware update for the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone users in India. Along with the November 2022 security patch, the latest Galaxy A53 5G OTA carrying build number A536EXXU4BVKB adds a Maintenance Mode feature.

You can easily use this feature, just need to follow a few steps. To use this feature, open Settings >> Battery and Device Care >> Maintenance Mode >> tap on the Turn on button, and your smartphone restarts. It is done, now no one can access your personal data such as photos, messages, accounts, etc. However, you can use the apps installed by default.
To Turn off Maintenance Mode, you just have to reboot your smartphone through pattern or fingerprint recognition.

Users can identify the November 2022 security update with version A536BXXU4BVKB in Europe. The update fixes 3 critical, 32 high, and 1 moderate level of CVEs from Google and 26 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.
Maintenance Mode or Repair Mode is a Galaxy-exclusive feature that allows you to selectively expose data when you get your smartphone repaired. This feature fundamentally eliminates concerns about some private companies accessing or leaking personal information during the repair process.

We are in October 2024 and Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy A33 5G smartphone, which brings the September 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. The update is available for users in Brazil and the company will soon expand it to more countries.
