Samsung has kicked off the December 2022 update for the Wallet Digital Key app, which brings a new app icon. You can identify the latest update via the build version 1.0.10.1 and an updated package size of 29.1 MB.

The Korean tech giant has redesigned the Wallet Digital Key app icon with the new update, which is almost similar to the Wallet app icon. Previously, the icon of the Digital Key is similar to Samsung Pass because this function worked under that app.

But now, Samsung Wallet combines Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass to store and access digital IDs, payments, keys, cards, and more. That’s why the company has updated the Samsung Wallet Digital Key app with a new icon nearly similar to Samsung Wallet app.

The update is rolling out gradually so it may take time/hours to reach all eligible devices. To mention, the Samsung Wallet app is available in limited countries though the Korean tech giant is regularly working to make it available for all Galaxy devices.

To check and install the update, you have to open Galaxy Store on your smartphone >> Tap on the More option >> Press Updates. Here you can see all the available updates, you can install them by pressing the refresh icon next to the app name or tapping on the Update all option.

Google Messages updates its share sheet with a new conversation picker

Google is testing a new way to share and forward texts and chats from Messages for Android that is a Conversation Picker feature. Instead of a pop-up window, you will see a full-screen page where you can choose who to send the message to.

Users can search for a contact or choose one from the list of recent conversations. In addition, they can view the last message in each conversation to help them make a decision as well as select multiple recipients and tap Next to proceed to the chat screen.

The new page also shows all your contacts below the recent conversations. However, it does not show their phone numbers, which might be confusing if users have multiple entries for the same person.

This new feature is not widely available yet, even in the beta version of Google Messages. It might be a server-side switch that Google is testing with a small group of users. It is not clear when it will be rolled out to everyone.
