Samsung Internet app for Wear OS returns to Google Play Store

Last year, Samsung introduced its Internet Browser for Wear OS smartwatches. But due to some unknown reasons, this browser disappeared from Google Play Store. Now as the Samsung Internet app returns to Play Store service, Wear OS customers can continue to take advantage of this full-fledged web browser.
With the launch of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, Samsung ditched Tizen for its smartwatches and switched to Google’s Wear OS. Around the same time period, the company also launched Samsung Internet for this smartwatch and later expanded it to all Wear OS watches.

Samsung Internet has been very helpful for users as there is no other web browser, such as Google Chrome, available for Wear OS smartwatches. Its sudden removal must have caused inconvenience to many smartwatch customers who wanted to install it.

Thankfully, this problem didn’t last long and Samsung re-released its Internet browser app on the Play Store for all Wear OS customers. However, the company has not told anything as to why they removed this app for the smartwatches.
We could assume that Samsung has removed it for the time being to update the application or add new changes to it, but nothing happened like this. There is no change in the returned Samsung Internet app, it is the same as the old one. It may have been removed by mistake by the developers.
Anyways, interested Wear OS users can now head over to the Play Store app on their watches to install this application and browse the internet on their wrists.

According to the info, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic could come with the same battery capacity. Usually, the company brings the larger battery to the premium model, which might not be the same case with the next lineup.
Evidence from a Chinese regulatory board allegedly exposed the battery mAh of upcoming Samsung smartwatch models along with dial sizes. It’s worth mentioning that the Classic models may have larger dial sizes with the same battery as the smaller variants of Watch 6.
- Galaxy Watch 6 40mm: 300mAh
- Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 42mm: 300mAh
- Galaxy Watch 6 44mm: 425mAh
- Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 46mm: 425mAh
Compared to the last year’s Galaxy Watch 5, that’s an upgrade of approx 5% on each model. As compared to the Galaxy Watch 4, the upcoming models are likely to feature an upgrade of around 20%, which will make quite an impact on battery life.
With the Galaxy Watch 4, the South Korean tech giant stopped using its own developed Tizen OS and replaced it with Google’s Wear OS. Continuing this, the company will bring the next-generation smartwatches with the One UI Watch operating system, based on Wear OS.
Earlier, it was revealed that the Galaxy Watch 6 will have a curved glass display, similar to the Google Pixel Watch or Apple Watch series. In addition, the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro could be replaced with Classic branding and bring back the physical rotating bezel.

The Galaxy Watch5 models are capable of monitoring BP (blood pressure) and ECG (electrocardiogram), while, Samsung is now unlocking these features for users in the Philippines. Thanks to the intelligent BioActive sensor, Galaxy Watch users can track their health status directly from the wrist.
How to use:
Blood Pressure
Install the Samsung Health Monitor application onto your Galaxy smartphone and connect it to your compatible Galaxy Watch5 then calibrate it with a traditional cuff. Voila, you can now measure the blood pressure on your smartwatch anytime, anywhere.
Do note that the Galaxy Watch5 measures blood pressure through pulse wave analysis, which is tracked with the Heart Rate Monitoring sensors. Then, the program records the relationship between the calibration value and the blood pressure change to determine BP.
Electrocardiogram
The ECG (electrocardiogram) feature works by recording the heart’s electrical activity through a sensor on the Galaxy Watch5. You just need to open the Samsung Health Monitor app, sit comfortably and ensure the watch is fitted firmly to your wrist.
Now, rest your forearm on a flat surface and lightly place a fingertip from the opposite hand on the top button on the watch for 30 seconds. Once done, the app will measure your heart rate and rhythm, which will be displayed as either a Sinus Rhythm (a normal, regular heartbeat) or AFib (when the heart beats irregularly).
Install the latest firmware update on your Galaxy Watch5 via the Samsung Wearable app to get access to BP and ECG features!
