Samsung is enhancing its Wi-Fi Calling feature with December 2022 update. Identified via version 8.0.00.40, the latest update comes with an installation package size of 7.74 MB on the Galaxy Store.

The new update comes with regular improvements and fixes to enhance the performance and stability of the feature. However, it does not contain new features or changes but improves the calling experience through Wi-Fi.

To be mentioned, the December 2022 update of the Samsung Wi-Fi calling app is compatible with Galaxy devices mainly running on Android 13 based One UI 5.0. You can install this update via Galaxy Store or download it directly from the link mentioned here.

With One UI 5.0, Samsung added new shortcut buttons for more features in Quick Setting Panel, and Wi-Fi calling is one of them. Now, you can directly access the Wi-Fi calling feature from Quick Settings.

In addition, the company enhanced the Wi-Fi calling feature with One UI 5.0. You can easily enable the Wi-Fi Calling feature on your Galaxy smartphone by following a few steps. Open the Phone app >> tap on the More option (three vertical dots) >> click on Settings >> Scroll down and find Wi-Fi calling feature >> turn on the toggle to enable this feature.
