Samsung releases Android 13/One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy Tab S7 FE

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE joins the growing list of Samsung devices getting a major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. Samsung has started rolling out this software update in Europe, with customers in the UK receiving it first.

The update brings a slew of new features and improvements to this Galaxy device. At the same time, it installs the most up-to-date December 2022 Android security patch that addresses 80 security and privacy-related issues and errors.

Android 13 One UI 5.0:

First of all, the Android 13 One UI 5.0 update brings some notable tweaks to the user interface, such as bolder app icons, revamped Notification Panel, Quick Settings Panel and a Recent menu, smoother animations, and more.

The Color Palette feature has been improved to better apply wallpaper colors to the System UI menu. It now offers you 16 palettes that you can set on your device. Whereas, the revamped Wallpaper and Style section offers you an additional One UI 5.0 wallpapers and easier access to wallpaper services.

The new software is also making it easier than ever for you to keep your device protected and your sensitive information private with the new “Security and Privacy” menu in the settings.

There’s new Per-app languages feature so that you can use different languages for different apps, Notification permission to offer you more control over your notifications, and Lockdown mode for more privacy, the ability to disable RAM Plus, and many more.

Aside from these, the company has added more customization tools to bring your phone closer to you. Now you can change your wallpaper and lock screen directly from the lock screen and can add more tweaks to it.
