This year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone with several improvements. The device is being appreciated by the customers but users wished they had a slightly bigger cover display. Well, Samsung is likely to fix this with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone as it is said to have a larger cover display.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone sometime in August 2023. Whereas, a clever tipster has now only revealed some important details about this phone’s cover as well as the main display.

It’s worth mentioning that Samsung has increased the size of the cover screen of its Flip phones even before. Flip phones before the Galaxy Z Flip 3 only came with a 1.1-inch cover display. Whereas, this leap from 1.9 to 3.0 inches will make the Flip 5’s cover screen around 60% larger that the current model.

A larger cover screen means you get the ability to use more features and functions when your phone is folded. It will provide a clearer view of your phone’s functions and might bring additional new features.

On the other side, the tipster further mentions that the upcoming Flip phone will come with a different hinge design. You must have noticed that when the foldable device is unfolded, the display crease is visible in the middle and spoils the look of the phone.

Samsung is going to fix this as well. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will reportedly come with a less visible foldable display crease compared to the current models. It will offer you a better display viewing.
