Samsung releases Android 13/One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy S22, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4 in China

A bit late, Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones in China.

The latest update comes with plenty of new features and improvements over the previous One UI 4 version. There are smoother animations, revamped user interface, new app icons, and faster performance.

The company adds three new compartments in the Settings page to let users access certain features and functions with more ease. These include – Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy.

The Wallpaper and style section is significantly improved, it offers new One UI 5.0 wallpapers and various other wallpaper services in one place. Next, the Notification panel is getting bigger app icons so that you can easily identify the notifications.

Furthermroe, the Camera app is getting a new Picture watermark feature, histogram, Help guide in Pro mode, Easy zoon, and others. Whereas, the Gallery is getting new and improved picture/video editing tools, an Extract text from image feature, and more.

Aside from these, the major software update further brings 16 color palette options, Stack widgets, Per-app languages, Notification permissions, new call background and mini Pop-up UI, easy search in the Notes app, Lockdown mode, new Good lock modules, and much more.
