Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra smartphones are the latest recipient of the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in Canada. This update has arrived with lots of goodies and improvements over the One UI 4.1 software.
In addition, it installs the latest November 2022 Android security patch that addresses dozens of privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities including 3 critical, 32 high, and 1 moderate level of CVEs and 26 SVEs.

It comes with 16 color palette options to provide you more control over your phone’s theme, a new Lockdown mode from privacy enhancements, and two multitasking gestures for easier access to the Split screen view and Pop-up window.

It further brings an Extract text feature to let users copy text from any image and paste it into messages, per-app language to set different languages on different apps, Stack Widgets so that you can create group widgets by just dragging and dropping one, and many more.
In addition to these, the One UI 5.0 update makes it easier to get things done across your Galaxy devices with the new Settings menus: Connected device, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy. The Wallpaper and style section is also facing significant improvements with a new collection of One UI 5.0 wallpapers, and others.
Besides, many Samsung apps are also getting new features. The Camera app is bringing a customizable Picture Watermark, Telephoto lens support in food mode, a new help guide in Pro mode, and others. The Gallery app is getting improved editing tools, a new “View all” option to quickly access all your albums, and more.

In addition to South Korea and Germany, Samsung has now launched the Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta in the US. Users of carrier-unlocked or T-Mobile branded Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, or S23 Ultra smartphones can now sign up to get the Beta firmware via OTA.
