Samsung is rolling out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update for Galaxy S20 devices everywhere. Meanwhile, the US Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S20 unit is only installing the November 2022 Android security patch with the latest update.

The Korean firm started delivering the Android 13 update for Galaxy S20 devices a couple of weeks back. Multiple users in different regions, including Germany, France, India, Malaysia, the UK, and others, have already got access to the latest iteration of Android.

However, it seems like US carrier-unlocked users still have to wait for a few days to taste the stable update. We expect Samsung to provide an Android 13 update to US users of Galaxy S20 phones in the next week.

Samsung has released the November 2024 update for Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which adds a new Auto Blocker feature. The update is now rolling out for users in South Korea after the release in the US.

With the November 2024 update, when Auto Blocker is enabled with Maximum restrictions on your Galaxy Tab S10 model, USB devices will be blocked from connecting to the tablet, except for charging purposes.

The Maximum Restrictions mode provides extra strong protection for people who need more security. Some of your phone’s features will be restricted. Other devices won’t be able to connect to your phone using a USB cable. It can prevent others from accessing your data if they have physical access to your phone.

Aside from this new feature, the November 2024 security patch fixes 52 vulnerabilities across Android and Samsung’s software. Google has resolved 38 high-priority issues, while one CVE is not relevant to Galaxy devices.

Following locked models, Samsung has now started rolling out the November 2024 security update for unlocked models of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the US. The update improves system security and stability to provide a better experience.

Users of unlocked Samsung Galaxy S23 models are getting a November 2024 security update with the One UI builds version given below.

  • S911U1UES5CXI8 – Galaxy S23
  • S916U1UES5CXI8 – Galaxy S23 Plus
  • S918U1UES5CXI8 – Galaxy S23 Ultra

The latest security update is here for the Galaxy S23 series, and it brings security fixes from both Google and Samsung.
