Samsung Galaxy Note 20 at Verizon grabs Android 13 update in the US [One UI 5.0]

Samsung started to roll out the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone users in the US. This update is live for Verizon-bounded customers in the country, whereas, other users are expected to get it very soon.

The company is releasing the latest update with plenty of premium features and countless improvements. It brings 16 color palettes and basic color options to let you choose the best theme for your phone. Also, there’s now the ability to disable Color Palette, if you don’t like any of the colors.

The Lock Screen is getting advanced customization options so that you can edit every part of your lock screen, the Home Screen is receiving new Stack Widgets that lets you add a stack by just tapping and holding, and the Quick settings panel is collecting new accessibility options for easier access to more features.

Other than these, you will see three new menus in the Settings, which as Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy. These lets you manage all the related settings in one place. The Wallpaper and Style section is also facing significant improvements with new wallpapers and more elements.

One UI 5.0 further brings the ability to disable RAM Plus, Lockdown mode, Extract text from images, Camera Watermark, Histogram in Pro mode, Telephoto lens support for Food mode, new picture and video editing functions in Gallery, and many more.

Lastly, the fresh software update installs the previous month’s October 2022 Android security patch for system security enhancements instead of the new November 2022 patch.

How to download:

You don’t need to perform any extra steps to get access to this major upgrade. Just visit Settings and navigate to Software update >> Download and install options. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the downloading function.
