Verizon rolling out October 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy A03s
Samsung launched the Galaxy A03s smartphone in August 2021. It is a low-cost Samsung smartphone that only supports two major Android operating system updates. One of these major updates is installed as Android 12 on the phone and now it is only eligible for Android 13.
It’s worth mentioning that Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable updates have started reaching eligible devices and it’s expected that the South Korean company will release it for Galaxy A03s devices in early 2023.

After Samsung, Verizon released the October 2022 security update for the Galaxy A03s smartphone users in the US. The update carries PDA build version A037USQU3BVK1 and mainly installs a newer security patch for better privacy against threats.

Samsung Galaxy A03s smartphone users have started collecting the October 2022 Android security patch update in Brazil. The latest update comes with system security and stability enhancements to maintain the users’ experience and deliver seamless performance.
Aside from this, it also fixes 50 vulnerabilities and exposures that affect the privacy and security of the system. These include 18 SVEs from Samsung and 32 CVEs from Google. The software update version is A037MUBS3BVJ1.

Galaxy A03s Specs:
The Galaxy A03s sports a 6.5-inch LCD Infinity-V display with HD+ resolution. It features a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
It has a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. Meanwhile, on the front, it has a 5MP camera for selfies.

How to update?
If you haven’t already received the OTA update notification, expect to get it in the next day or so. The rollout happens rapidly so it shouldn’t be long before you’re able to get the update. You can manually check the update via your device’s Settings, Download and install option under Software Updates.
