Samsung serves Android 13/One UI 5.0 update to Galaxy A53, A33 in India

Samsung has started rolling out the major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 smartphone users in India. The latest comes with a handful of new features, improvements, customization options, and some user interface changes.

In addition to these, the devices are also installing the October 2022 Android security patch that itself addresses multiple vulnerabilities and exposures affecting system security and privacy.

Samsung Galaxy A53 One UI 5.0 update comes with firmware version A536EXXU4BVK1 in India. Meanwhile, users of Galaxy A33 phones can identify the same update through the A336EDXU4BVK1 version in the country.

Android 13 One UI 5.0 key features:

There’s a lot to talk about the new generation software for Galaxy devices. It brings 16 color palette options to provide you more control over your phone’s theme, a new Lockdown mode from privacy enhancements, and an Extract text feature to let users copy text from any image and paste it into messages,

It also installs two multitasking features for easier access to the Split screen view and Pop-up window, Stack Widgets to let users create group widgets with ease, per-app language to set different languages on different apps, and many more.

Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update further makes it easier to get things done across your Galaxy devices with the new Settings menus: Connected device, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy that lets you manage all the related settings in one place.

In addition to these, various apps are also getting new features. The Camera app is bringing Telephoto lens support in food mode, Picture Watermark, a new help guide in Pro mode, and others. At the same time, the Gallery app is getting improved editing tools, a new “View all” option to quickly access all your albums, and more.
