Samsung started to roll out the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update to Galaxy Tab S7 FE users in global markets a couple of months ago and now it’s expanding to US customers. Notably, only Verizon-bounded Tab S7 FE customers are installing it at the present time.

Identified via One UI build version T738USQU4BVIA, the latest update comes with a bunch of new features that will make it easy to use your tablet. There are new multitasking features so can take full advantage of your device’s large screen.

The Taskbar is the most notable Android 12L feature that Galaxy Tab S7 FE is getting with the latest update. It lets customers seamlessly switch between different applications as well as open up to three apps in a split-screen view.

In addition to this, there are new Swipe for Pop-up view and Swipe for Split-screen features in the Labs section. Once enabled, you can simply swipe your phone’s screen to use Pop-up windows and Split-screens.

Furthermore, you can now peek right through your pop-overs by touching and holding the screen around them. This function will temporarily turn the pop-overs transparent so that you can see the rest of the app behind them.

The Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update on your US Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE further brings new Call backgrounds for different contact, Extract text from image or screenshot feature, enhanced My Files searches, new Samsung Keyboard improvements, and much more.

Unfortunately, the fresh software update installs a two-month-old September 2022 Android security patch for privacy enhancement. In any case, you can fetch the latest software update on your Galaxy devices through the Settings and Software update sections.
