It’s worth mentioning that Samsung’s plan to outsource 60 million Galaxy units in 2023 accounts for 18% of the total number of smartphones it plans to manufacture in 2023. During the meeting, the company also told suppliers to continue their efforts to cut costs through 2023.

Samsung x JDM
As of now, Korean tech giant uses four JDMs, including Wintech and Huaqin. In 2022 alone, the Korean tech giant is expected to manufacture around 50 million smartphones using JDMs. Meanwhile, there are opposing views on Samsung’s extensive use of JDM.
Back in 2019, JDMs only accounted for around 6% of the smartphones Samsung made that year. But this has increased to double digits in 2020 since TM Roh became head of Samsung’s mobile business, now called MX Business by the company.

Per the input, the Galaxy S24 comes with a 6.2-inch flat panel. While the front remains untouched, there are notable alterations in the side frames, resulting in a subtly different in-hand experience. The next flagship brings a flat frame design, a departure from the rounded edges seen in previous generations.
Compared to the S23, the upcoming S24 could be slightly taller and less wide, with dimensions approximately 147 x 70.5 x 7.6 mm. Besides, the inclusion of a UWB (Ultra-Wideband) Antenna on the right side of the device is a notable first for Samsung.
On the rear side, the Galaxy S24 5G equips three cameras protruding individually from the frame, accompanied by an LED flash. Probably, the back will flaunt a soft matte finish, enhancing the tactile feel when held in hand along with maintaining continuity with its predecessor.
