So finally, Samsung is back on track to release the most up-to-date Android security patch ahead of rivals like Google. Firstly, Samsung released the October 2022 security update for the Galaxy A52 smartphone users, while it will expand to more devices and countries.

There are a number of Samsung Galaxy devices that are eligible to receive the latest October 2022 security update over the air. Meanwhile, all the recent flagship phones from Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Z, and select Galaxy A series devices will surely be getting the October patch in the next few days.

Samsung October 2022 security patch brings fixes for different kinds of vulnerabilities and exposures. It includes 1 critical, 29 high, and 2 moderate levels of CVEs, while, 8 CVEs were already included in previous updates, and 11 are not applicable to Galaxy devices.

Samsung has now started rolling out the latest security patch to Galaxy A series devices. At the moment, Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A15 5G, and Galaxy A04 smartphones are getting the July 2025 security update.

The company is releasing the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A15 4G, and Galaxy A04 4G can verify the July 2025 update via One UI build versions given below.

The fresh update improves the system security and stability by fixing a bunch of issues. It mainly enhances functions related to Knox security, Galaxy Watch system interface, Samsung Account, Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth, Emergency SOS, and more.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra can verify the July 2025 security update with One UI builds S931NKSS5AYF6, S936NKSS5AYF6, and S938NKSS5AYF6, respectively. They will have to download around 550MB package to install the update.

Notably, the update is currently available for users in Korea and will expand to more countries in the coming days. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours to days to reach all models.

Users who are still on One UI 7 can install the latest update via Settings > Software Update >> Download and install. If you are testing One UI 8 beta on your Galaxy S25 smartphone, you will have to wait longer for this update.
