Samsung Galaxy S21 Lock Screen customization: One UI 5.0

Samsung has been offering the next level customization for Galaxy Lock Screen with Good Lock LockStar module for so long. Now the company has brought these select features directly to the system settings so you can easily navigate them.

When you visit the Lock Screen menu through Settings, you will see two small pages which read Edit Lock screen and Edit Widgets. When you tap on the Lock screen option, your phone’s lock screen will appear in full screen to let you redesign it.

You can disable any of the components of the lock screen, such as the Clock, Notification icons, and App shortcuts, by tapping the “-” icon. Meanwhile, to edit that part, tap on it.

Samsung also offers a “Contact Information” option to let you add a phone number or email address so that people can contact you if you lose your phone. However, you can also add other information in the section such as your name, your phone’s name, any thoughts, etc.

You can now directly edit the app shortcut from here. Just tap on tap “Right shortcut” or “Left shortcut.” Furthermore, at the very top of this edit page, you will see the Wallpaper option. When you tap on it you will directly reach the Wallpaper and style section.

In addition, the company has also installed the ability to edit the lock screen directly when your phone is locked. For this, you need to enable the “Touch and hold to edit” option through Settings >> Lock screen.

Next is the Lock Screen Widget option, where you can customize the widgets you want to see on the lock screen or can also rearrange them.
