Samsung’s Galaxy S23 to miss 45W fast charging
TENAA certification revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra might ditch 45W fast charging support. Meanwhile, tipster just revealed that the Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones still support fast charging up to 45W, which means, the vanilla variant will miss it again.
According to IceUniverse, the Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra are likely to continue their predecessor’s 45W fast charging capability, which was stuck to 25W in the recent TENAA listing. Now, the latest claim gives us a piece of relaxation as at least Samsung is not decreasing charging speeds.

Galaxy S23 misses 45W charging
Next-gen Samsung flagships will launch next month in which the standard variant still misses the 45W charging support, which appears to be funny. In the recent past, several vendors introduced massive charging speeds including the OnePlus 10T, which offers up to 150W fast charging.
Not only charging speeds, but Samsung also is not working on the battery capacity increment of its flagships, at least for the S23 series. Samsung fans also want lesser delays in charging smartphones alongside a long-lasting battery in flagship devices.
Anyways, hardware isn’t only the key factor of fast charging and a long-lasting battery. Samsung is expected to bring more power-efficient displays with the Galaxy S23 series that will help the devices save battery power, while software optimization can slightly boost the charging time gap.
Galaxy S23 Launch
Samsung could introduce the Galaxy S23 series flagships sometime in February 2023. Globally, these devices are rumored to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra could be the first Samsung phone to boast a monstrous 200MP image sensor.
