Samsung Galaxy S10 October 2022 security update improves Bluetooth connection and camera stability
Samsung is expanding the October 2022 update for Galaxy S10 series smartphones in Germany. The update improves system security by installing the Android patch released in October 2022.

According to the changelog, the update also enhances Bluetooth connection and camera stability along with security improvements. The company wants to provide a bug-free and seamless experience through this new update.
The new update for Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e come with the One UI build versions G975FXXUGHVJ3, G975FXXUGHVJ5, and G975FXXUGHVJ0 respectively.
You can now check if the update has arrived on your phone or not. To do so, navigate to Settings and the Software update menu. After tapping on the Download and install option, the update will appear on the screen, start the downloading procedure by hitting the Download button.

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for Galaxy S10 series smartphones that primarily installs the October 2022 Android security patch. The update is releasing in select European countries including Switzerland and will soon reach other devices.
According to the information, the company is slightly enhancing the performance of your Galaxy S10 as the latest update improves its stability. This optimization ensures that users won’t meet disgusting problems like system lagging, app crashing, freezing, and others.
Simultaneously, in order to protect your phone from bugs and viruses, Samsung Galaxy S10 October 2022 patch update further boosts the security of the system. It will help in keeping your files and data safe and protected.

Aside from these minor enhancements, the October patch also resolves 50 exposures and vulnerabilities that are related to users’ privacy. These fixes include 18 Galaxy-specific flaws that were affecting various device components, apps, and services and 42 Google Android OS issues.
Moving ahead, the latest software update for the Galaxy S10 smartphone holds the One UI build version G973FXXUGHVJ1. Whereas, the Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10+ customers can identify it through firmware version G970FXXUGHVJ1 and G975FXXUGHVJ1 respectively.
Android 13/One UI 5.0:
Aside from rolling out the monthly security patches, Samsung is also working on Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software. Just recently, it released the fifth One UI 5.0 beta for Galaxy S22 customers and is scheduled to start a stable rollout before the end of this month.
After Snapdragon models, Samsung has released an April 2024 security update for Exynos models of the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone in India. Users can identify the latest update through One UI build version G990EXXS8FXD1.
The fresh update improves system security and stability to enhance the overall performance. It protects against security threats by incorporating the latest security patches for Android. Also, it improves some functions to provide a better user experience.
Users of the Exynos Galaxy S21 FE smartphone in India will have to download a 248.39MB package to install the April 2024 security update. The update is based on One UI 6.0 and the company will soon release One UI 6.1 update for this smartphone.
To install the update, users should navigate to the Software Update section found within the device’s Settings. They can select ‘Download and install’ from there to initiate the update process.

Samsung recently began rolling out a software update for its Galaxy devices in Europe, focusing on 4G network compatibility. The update that started releasing with the Galaxy S24 and other recent models is now available for the Galaxy S22 series as well.
Users of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones can identify the new update in Europe through One UI build version S901BXXU8DXD6, S906BXXU8DXD6, and S908BXXU8DXD6 respectively. This update is based on Android 14 and One UI 6.0.
The new update has revised support for the LTE TDD band. For German-purchased devices, the update will disable TDD 4G network support in ten European countries including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
To check and install the update, open the Settings app >> Software Update >> Download and install.
One UI 6.1 Update
Samsung officially confirmed that the company will release One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series along with 5 other Galaxy devices in early May 2024. Moreover, the Canadian network carrier’s schedule also suggested that the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will get a new update with One UI 6.1 starting May 3.

We are in April and Samsung is rolling out a new firmware update for Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy A54 smartphones in Europe. The update comes with enhanced 4G band support and general improvements to deliver a better experience.
The fresh update enhances the Regional LTE TDD band support to provide better network performance across various European countries. However, the Samsung device models bought in Germany will not support LTE TDD band signals in certain countries, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
