Yesterday, Samsung rolled out the 3rd Beta build of One UI 5.0 to the Galaxy S21 series in the UK and South Korea. Well now, the company has pushed the One UI 5.0 Beta 3 for the Galaxy S21 consumers in the US, which brings meaningful changes as part of improving the overall user experience.

While the 3rd Beta update’s changelog was entirely inspired by the Galaxy S22’s fourth Beta, the US consumers got a purely organic build as Beta 3. The Galaxy S21 One UI 5.0 Beta 3 update can be recognized via build version ending ZVIH and brings fixes for bugs and issues that are actually reported by the consumers in the US.

The biggest concern with smartwatch consumers is also getting fixes with the Beta 3, which was reported by Galaxy Watch 3 and Watch Active owners due to the continuous crash of Samsung Accessory Service. Furthermore, you will be able to access the Panels function in Easy mode which was bricked post-Beta 2 installation.

Text extraction is an impressive feature offered in the One UI 5.0 software for Galaxy devices. It lets users grab the text content from images in the gallery and even in real time using the One UI Camera. Meanwhile, the issue of “No text found” is fixed with Beta 3 and you will now be able to enjoy text grabbing in Handwritten documents.

Apart from these changes, there are more additional bug fixes such as the select mode popup not showing while tapping lifestyle mode from lockscreen, video not playing after getting trimmed on lockscreen, as well as the ability to remove apps from restrict app usage in lifestyle mode.
