  • Featured: The wallpapers that come pre-installed with your Galaxy S21.
  • Gallery: You can choose any wallpaper or picture of you from the Gallery area.
  • Graphical: Graphical wallpapers offered by One UI 5.0 software.
  • Colors: Plane color or gradient wallpapers which are also provided by One UI 5.0.
  • Wallpaper services: You can choose between two lock screen wallpaper services – Dynamic Lock screen or Samsung Global Goals and customize their settings
  • Downloaded: The wallpapers you have already downloaded through the Galaxy store on your phone.
  • Galaxy Themes: You can explore more wallpapers, themes, icons, and AOD wallpapers once you tap on this option.

Besides the Browse my wallpaper area, there’s “Color Palette“. This color picker sampler now provides users with lots of wallpaper color combinations. Compared to One UI 4.1, which had 4 color palettes, One UI 5.0 offers 12 color palettes alongside 8 different basic colors and 4 dual tome color presets.

Most notably, it has an option to completely disable Color Palette. If you don’t like any of the 16 color palettes, you can disable the feature and your phone’s theme will revert to the default Blue, White, and Black colors.

Lastly, the One UI 5.0 Wallpaper and style section contains “Apply Dark mode to Wallpapers“. If you are using dark mode on your phone and want it to show wallpapers and themes accordingly, you can enable this feature to automatically customize wallpaper as per the dark mode.
