Samsung releases Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta 3 for Galaxy S21

Samsung begins Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta 3 deployment for the Galaxy S21 series flagships. The changelog of the latest Beta firmware lists a number of bug fixes and improvements that have been reported by the Beta participants throughout the testing period.

The Beta 3 of One UI 5.0 software brings major changes and improvements to the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup phones. Notably, the Korean tech giant is making it available for consumers in its home ground with PDA build version ending ZVJ3.

The Beta 3 update changelog firstly mentions improvements for the addition and removal of favorites and recent items in the Album function of the Samsung Gallery app. It fixes the issues that lead to auto turn off of your Galaxy S21 due to the Routines auto-detection.

A bug that turns the phone’s screen black and white (grayscale) is also being fixed as Beta 3 applied necessary stabilization codes to the Routines feature. In case you also faced crashing while entering app folders, you will get rid of this issue post-One UI 5.0 Beta 3 installation.

Aside from this, the Wallpaper section also getting crashed since the arrival of the new design, which is now getting fixes, thanks to the One UI 5.0 Beta 3. Moreover, the AI eraser functions will start working again including the Object Eraser, Reflection Eraser, and Shadow Eraser.

Almost, it’s the same changelog as the one that arrived for the Galaxy S22 series with the latest Beta build a few days ago as it includes similar content such as improvements for vibration feedback with gestures, and frame rate breakdown when jumping to the homescreen from widget.

Multi-user feature removed

Most importantly, it dumps the most important multi-user feature, which was added with an earlier Beta build. Previously, the company revealed that it will remove the multi-user feature with upcoming Beta builds as it’s having some critical issues that can’t be fixed for now.

Once entered, you need to go to the bottom where you can find the Software update tab, tap it followed by Download and install to begin the installation.
