One UI 4.1.1 (Android 12L) update now available for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 in the US

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ have started collecting the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update in the US. This update is released for Verizon-locked units in the country and will expand to other customers shortly.

Furthermore, the new update bears the One UI build version T878USQU2CVI3 and T978USQU2CVI3 for the Tab S7 and Tab S7+ respectively. Meanwhile, to bring it to your tablet, navigate to Settings followed by Software update and Download and install sections.

One UI 4.1.1 features:

Samsung installs a bunch of new features to the Galaxy Tab S7 devices with the One UI 4.1.1 update that relays on Android 12L. The most promising among them is the Taskbar, which lets you switch between multiple apps and use multitasking with ease.

The tablets further gets new swipe gestures including Swipe for Split-Screen and Swipe for Pop-up view for effortless multitasking. Moreover, the Pop-overs are also getting optimizations. It now allows you to peek right through your pop-overs by touching and holding the screen around them.

There’s is new extract text from image feature, which which you can easily copy text from any image saved in your Gallery and you can further paste it to any document, message, etc.

Aside from these features, the company also new calls backgrounds for each contact, a more powerful search in My Files, the ability to rearrange expression buttons, an edit Lock screen wallpaper collection function, and more.

One UI 5.0:

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series is eligible to get the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. Currently, the new One UI version is in beta phase, however, the company will soon begun its roll out for the compatible devices.

We expect that Tab S7 and Tab S7+ will receive the One UI 5.0 update before the end of this year. Whereas, the update roll out will start from high-end Galaxy S22 series.
