Before you download, it’s with noting that the application is currently in a Public Preview release stage, which means it may not support some wearables that runs Wear OS. It also doesn’t run all the features and only offers limited smart home controls.
FINALLY! The Google Home app for Wear OS is now available!
Sadly, it only works on Wear OS 3 and above. I tried sideloading it onto a Wear OS 2 watch, but it failed because it requires SDK version 30 and above (Android 11+). pic.twitter.com/gUUXp4ytko

Wear OS Google Home app:
With the Google Home app released for Wear OS devices, you get quick access to smart home controls on your wrist. It provides you access to all the rooms you’ve set up in the Google Home app on your phone on the app’s home screen. Just tap on them to open the device controls for each room.
Furthermore, on the room page, the app has sliders to adjust the brightness of connected lights, the volume of connected speakers and other media devices, and the temperature of connected thermostats or smart AC units. Tapping on these sliders will also let you turn the devices On or Off.
Besides these, the Wear OS Google Home app has nothing much to offer. At this moment, it also cannot be said whether or not Google will bring more features for wearables.

According to the info, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic could come with the same battery capacity. Usually, the company brings the larger battery to the premium model, which might not be the same case with the next lineup.
Evidence from a Chinese regulatory board allegedly exposed the battery mAh of upcoming Samsung smartwatch models along with dial sizes. It’s worth mentioning that the Classic models may have larger dial sizes with the same battery as the smaller variants of Watch 6.
- Galaxy Watch 6 40mm: 300mAh
- Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 42mm: 300mAh
- Galaxy Watch 6 44mm: 425mAh
- Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 46mm: 425mAh
Compared to the last year’s Galaxy Watch 5, that’s an upgrade of approx 5% on each model. As compared to the Galaxy Watch 4, the upcoming models are likely to feature an upgrade of around 20%, which will make quite an impact on battery life.
With the Galaxy Watch 4, the South Korean tech giant stopped using its own developed Tizen OS and replaced it with Google’s Wear OS. Continuing this, the company will bring the next-generation smartwatches with the One UI Watch operating system, based on Wear OS.
Earlier, it was revealed that the Galaxy Watch 6 will have a curved glass display, similar to the Google Pixel Watch or Apple Watch series. In addition, the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro could be replaced with Classic branding and bring back the physical rotating bezel.

Samsung Galaxy Watch5 grabs BP and ECG features in Philippines [How to use]

The Galaxy Watch5 models are capable of monitoring BP (blood pressure) and ECG (electrocardiogram), while, Samsung is now unlocking these features for users in the Philippines. Thanks to the intelligent BioActive sensor, Galaxy Watch users can track their health status directly from the wrist.
How to use:
Blood Pressure
Install the Samsung Health Monitor application onto your Galaxy smartphone and connect it to your compatible Galaxy Watch5 then calibrate it with a traditional cuff. Voila, you can now measure the blood pressure on your smartwatch anytime, anywhere.
Do note that the Galaxy Watch5 measures blood pressure through pulse wave analysis, which is tracked with the Heart Rate Monitoring sensors. Then, the program records the relationship between the calibration value and the blood pressure change to determine BP.
Electrocardiogram
The ECG (electrocardiogram) feature works by recording the heart’s electrical activity through a sensor on the Galaxy Watch5. You just need to open the Samsung Health Monitor app, sit comfortably and ensure the watch is fitted firmly to your wrist.
Now, rest your forearm on a flat surface and lightly place a fingertip from the opposite hand on the top button on the watch for 30 seconds. Once done, the app will measure your heart rate and rhythm, which will be displayed as either a Sinus Rhythm (a normal, regular heartbeat) or AFib (when the heart beats irregularly).
Install the latest firmware update on your Galaxy Watch5 via the Samsung Wearable app to get access to BP and ECG features!
