Samsung releases ‘Expert RAW’ for Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra and Z Fold 2
Samsung announced the launch of Expert RAW app for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable smartphone. Through a Korean community post, the company confirmed the availability of this powerful camera app for older flagship Galaxy devices.
Since the launch of the Expert RAW for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, owners of the Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20 series are waiting for it. Well, starting today, the app will be available in the South Korean market, and will expand to more regions and countries.
While the Expert RAW app availability is expanding to the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, other models including the Galaxy S20, S20+ and vanilla Note 20 are not eligible for it, at least for now. It is because of hardware limitations and compatibility issues with the software.

The company official revealed that the developers faced various problems and difficulties during the development of Expert RAW camera app for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra and Z Fold 2. However, there may be slight differences in processing time and image quality due to processor and sensor limitations.
Expert RAW:
Crafted for Galaxy devices, Samsung Expert RAW lets users vividly capture precious moments and further edit through Adobe’s Lightroom app. The application introduces several tools like a wider dynamic range, so you can capture a lot more, from dark areas to bright areas, in one photo.
Adding to this, Expert RAW features lots of additional functionalities in order to enable brighter and clearer photos even in low light conditions, while ISO, shutter speed, EV, manual focus, white balance, etc. let you directly control the camera as you want.
