Samsung Galaxy S23 series that will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset in some regions but reports claim that these devices’ Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will equip different specs than other devices.
The new information is coming from a very well-known leakster Ice Universe. As per his report, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is based on TSMC’s 4nm process. It will bring significant NPU, ISP, and GPU improvements to the table and will opt for a 1+2+2+3 core arrangement.
He says that Samsung Galaxy S23 Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor specs include Cortex-A715 cores whereas, the usual Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset we know has two Cortex-A720 CPU cores.
In addition to this, Ice also suggets that the Cortex-X3 will clock at 3.2GHz speed and Cortex-A510 will have a maximum clock speed of 2GHz. Whereas, the Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A710 cores will clock at up to 2.8GHz speed. And Adreno 740 GPU can pair these cores.
Furthermore, Qualcomm is ready to host the Snapdragon Summit between November 15-17, 2022, in Hawaii where it will launch the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Earlier reports suggets that the product will more focus on energy efficiency part instead of performance.

Galaxy S23 series:
We are still months away from the launch of the Galaxy S23 series which includes S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. So far, we have heard a lot about these smartphones and recently we also witnessed the renders of all three models that give their early look.
While considering the design, the base, and the Plus model are facing significant changes in the camera system as they now have Galaxy S22 Ultra-like no module design. Meanwhile, there seem no major changes in Galaxy S23 Ultra, it has the same camera system, however, with a bigger camera outline.
On the flip side, the specifications will remain almost the same as their predecessors. We will reportedly some slight changes in battery and display, and the Ultra model has 200MP primary camera rather than 108MP.
