Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone users have started grabbing the October 2022 Android security patch update. This update is rolling out for Verizon-locked models in the US.
Furthermore, Samsung is releasing the Galaxy S22 October 2022 security patch update that holds the following One UI builds versions:
- Galaxy S22 – S901USQS2AVI1
- Galaxy S22+ – S906USQS2AVI1
- Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908USQS2AVI1
This update improves the security and stability of your device in order to keep you protected on your device and provide you with seamless performance. At the same time, it will also resolve a bunch of privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities, which will unveil in the company’s October patch details next week.
On the other hand, Verizon’s Galaxy S22 October 2022 security update changelog also mentions, “this software update brings the latest Android OS 13 and One UI 5 enhancements.” It suggets that the network carrier is already releasing the One UI 5.0 update for these devices.
It is worth mentioning that Samsung is still running the One UI 5.0 beta program for Galaxy S22 customers in select 7 countries and has not announced the stable release of the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update so far. Then how can Verizon release a stable update for its devices that are not even eligible to test the builds?

Finishing the beta program, Samsung has begun rolling out the Stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A52 LTE smartphones in India. This update is currently live for the beta participants, however, the company should soon release it publically.
Identified via build version A525FXXU4CVJB, the Samsung Galaxy A52 One UI 5.0 stable update has arrived with the November 2022 Android security patch in India. Alongside this, it addresses the issues and errors that customers were facing in the beta phase and further improves new features and functions for enhanced performance.
As far as the features are concerned, the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 brings a slew of goodies to the Galaxy A52 smartphones. The company has given its One UI skin a minor visual refresh with new app icons, reorganized menus, and smoother animations.
Moreover, it installs 16 color palettes and basic color options to let customers choose the perfect theme for their phone, a new and improved picture/video editing tools in Gallery so that you don’t have to go to third-party apps to give a finishing touch to your content, and more advanced features to Camera that will guide you to capture perfect shots.
The update further adds new accessibility options to Quick Settings many, Stack Widgets features, Per-app language that lets you choose different languages for different apps, Notification permission to provide users will more control over their notifications, and many more.
The Settings page is also getting significant changes with the addition of new Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and Privacy menus that will let you manage all related functions in one place.

You don’t need to perform any extra steps to upgrade to the stable version from the beta. Just enter the Settings of your phone and navigate to Software update >> Download and install. After you wait for a while, an update will appear on your screen saying that the beta program is ended. Finally, hit the Download button, complete the installation function and enjoy.

Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S21 grabs November 2022 security update in the US
Carrier-locked models of Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra have started grabbing the November 2022 Android security patch update in the US. The latest update comes with improvements in system performance and various bug fixes.
As per the official support page, the Korean company has addressed 3 Critical Google vulnerabilities which were highly affecting the Galaxy phone’s security and privacy with the November 2022 patch.
Additionally, it fixes 32 high, and 1 moderate level of CVEs as well as 26 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items. Aside from these, the update optimizes the system security to keep safe your files and data on the device.
Whereas, the enhanced stability ensures that you won’t face any irritating issues like app crashing, system lagging, screen flickering, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update rolling out for carrier-locked models in the US
Carrier-locked units of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series have started installing the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in the US. The latest update is rolling out for Xfinity Mobile’s customers at the present time, however, will reach other users very soon.
