Samsung released One UI 5.0 updates based on Android 13 for a bunch of Galaxy devices and the remaining devices will soon receive this update. With this major One UI update, the Korean tech giant brings a slew of new features, improvements, and customization options to give an ultimate experience.
Along with several new features, the company has customized Settings to make it easier to use. With One UI 5, the company has made a separate option for camera cutout. Earlier we had to go to full-screen apps to enable this feature but now we can go directly to this option.
For Samsung’s powerful search, Camera Cutout has been separated so that users can go to this option by searching directly in the Settings app. This feature hides the camera cutout area by covering it with a black bar.
How to hide the camera cutout area?
You can easily hide the camera cutout of your smartphone through a few steps. If you don’t know how to hide or show the camera cutout, then you can follow the steps mentioned below.
- Open the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone.
- Tap on the Display option.
- Scroll down, and click on the Camera cutout option.
- Now, choose any app on which you want to hide the camera cutout.
- Tap on any app, you will see three options.
1. Show camera cutout
2. Hide camera cutout
3. Auto
- You can select any hide option to hide and it is done.
