Starting with the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung’s September 2022 security patch expanded to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy Note 20 series and some other devices. Now, the Verizon branded Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices started getting the September 2022 security update in the US.

Apart from September 2022 patches, consumers should expect better app performance and new version updates for some Samsung apps with the latest release. As the update deployment is initially happening for Verizon consumers, T-Mobile and AT&T could join soon.

You can check the version number of the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 software updates, followed by the official changelog released by Verizon. It’s worth mentioning that the latest OTA update brings nothing other than the system security improvements for the last year’s foldable devices.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are getting the July 2024 security update in Canada with One UI build version S911WVLS4CXE9, S916WVLS4CXE9, and S918WVLS4CXE9 respectively.

The update enhances security and security by fixing over 55 issues. It includes fixes from Google for critical vulnerabilities in Android, ensuring that Galaxy devices are more secure against potential threats.
