Samsung Galaxy M21 receiving September 2022 update in India
Samsung launched a new budget smartphone Galaxy M21 in India, back in March 2020. The phone features a powerful 6000mAh battery, Exynos 9611 processor, and 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage. Also, it comes pre-installed with One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 out of the box.
The Galaxy M21 phones are eligible for two generations of Android OS upgrades, as per Samsung’s upgrade policy. As the device has already received the major Android 12 update this year and it is not eligible for next Android OS update.

Android 13 is the latest operating system from Google, which was officially released on August 15, 2022. Following this, all OEMs started developing their own custom skins based on this new Android version. Along with this, Samsung also began releasing One UI 5.0 beta, a fifth-generation custom skin based on Android 13.
Currently, Samsung has already released Android 13 based One UI 5.0 betas for many of its high-end devices, and will soon roll out it to mid-range and budget devices.

Samsung Galaxy M21 users are grabbing September 2022 update in India. The update installs the Android patch released in August 2022 to enhance system security and stability.
In addition, the company upgrades Samsung Members and Calculator app to the latest version along with this update. Identified via version M215FXXU3CVH, the update comes with an installation package size of 850.14 MB.

Checkfirm has spotted a new Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy M21 smartphones. Identified via build version M215FXXU2CVCC, the update is been preparing for Indian users as the CSC code of this release is INS which belongs to the Indian units.
Right now, we don’t have any information on the release date of the Samsung Galaxy M21 Android 12 based One UI 4.1 update. However, it’s indicated that you won’t have to wait for too long to get the taste of the latest software system.

The latest information from the One UI Test Build Detection app – Checkfirm reveals that the One UI build is currently being tested on the Galaxy M21. Currently, the device is running on Android 11 based on One UI 3, so the next major update will be One UI 4.0. Read more here.
