In the year 2016, Samsung introduced this feature with the Galaxy S7 series devices, and going forward, the company has added several customization options with new updates. Although this feature was not available in Apple’s smartphones, but with the recently launched iPhone 14 series, Apple brings the Always On Display feature.

If we compare it with Samsung, it took Apple 6 years to bring this feature to its smartphones. From Samsung’s budget smartphones to flagship smartphones, users have been enjoying this feature for many years.

Now iPhone users can also rejoice as Apple has finally introduced the Always On Display feature to its smartphones, currently it is only available for the limited iPhone 14 series smartphones, but it may be released for more iPhones in the future.

Always On Display in iPhone 14 series let users customize their lock screen in new ways to keep their important info at the glance. You can enable the AOD feature on your smartphone by visiting Settings and can customize it at your convenience.

To be mentioned, the Always On Display feature is available for only iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphones because of its refresh rate and several powerful technologies.
