Samsung Monthly Quarterly Devices September 2022

Samsung began dispatching the latest September 2022 security patch for Galaxy devices, which brings fixes for several vulnerabilities to enhance security and stability. Along with the monthly patch, the company also revises its monthly and quarterly update plans for Galaxy devices. Like every month, Samsung has also shared the September 2022 revised list for monthly, quarterly, and biannual updates for Galaxy devices.

In the security update plan, the company adds new devices every month, while some devices are demoted and some are removed. As per the official information, Samsung September 2022 plan confirms Monthly Security updates for 39 Galaxy devices, Quarterly Security Updates for 63 devices, and Biannual Security Updates for 49 devices.

Currently, the company is rolling out the One UI 5.0 beta update for Galaxy devices. In addition, the One UI 4.1.1 rollout is also underway for several Samsung devices.

Samsung Galaxy A52s July 2024 update

Samsung is expanding the July 2024 security update for Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A52s smartphones in more countries. This update fixes several issues to make your Galaxy smartphone more secure, reliable, and stable.

Talking about the Galaxy A54, the July 2024 security update is already available in Korea and the company is now making it available in the US on Trackfone network carrier. Users are receiving this update with One UI build version S546VLUDS9CXG2 and 266.37MB  software package.

On the other side, Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone users are getting a fresh security patch with PDA version A528BXXS9GXF8 in Latin America. Users will have to download around 320MB package to install the update.

This update will bring improved functions to your Galaxy device, mainly related to One UI Home, System UI, and Secure Folder, further improving device security.

Both devices are getting this new update based on Android 14 and One UI 6.1. Samsung will expand the July 2024 security update to more Galaxy A52s and Galaxy A54 users in the coming days or weeks.

To install the update, users should navigate to the Software Update section found within the device’s Settings. They can select ‘Download and install’ from there to initiate the update process.

The Korean tech giant is releasing the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device.

July 2024 patch brings fixes for 4 critical and 21 high-priority Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) identified by Google, alongside 33 Samsung-specific Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs).

These fixes are mainly related to components like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security. The update improves overall performance for a better experience.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones can verify the July 2024 security update in the US with version N986USQS8HXFC and N986USQS8HXFC respectively.

To check new software updates manually, you just need to follow a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra users already received the July 2024 security update in Europe, and for locked variants in the US. Now, the company is making it available in more countries including UAE, India, Panama, and Australia.

Users of the Galaxy S23 series can identify the July 2024 update with the One UI build versions mentioned below.

July 2024 security patch addresses over 55 issues including 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, although 2 are irrelevant to Samsung devices. In addition, Samsung has fixed 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) to strengthen device security further.
