India: 2nd Galaxy S21 August 2022 update includes new versions of Samsung apps

The month of September has started, and the company is still only releasing the August patch for Galaxy users. At the moment, the company has started releasing the 2nd August 2022 update for Samsung Galaxy S21 users in India.

Samsung Galaxy S21 2nd August 2022 update improves the overall performance and stability of the device along with the August 2022 security patch. However, the latest update changelog does not mention any new feature or changes except for regular improvements. But it upgrades some stocks apps.

The update is currently rolling out in India and will expand to more regions soon. Before installing the latest update, make sure to back up your data. To install the update, visit the Settings of your phone followed by a Software update and Download and install options. Finally, hit on Download button >> Install now/Schedule install >> Restart.
Samsung has pushed a new update for the Galaxy A15 smartphone, which brings a September 2024 security patch. The update improves system security and stability to enhance the overall performance.

The fresh update is expected to resolve video playback issues experienced in previous software. Galaxy A15 users have reported encountering a black screen with sound but no visuals. Additionally, error messages frequently appear, indicating “An unknown error has occurred” or that the video codec is not supported.
Notably, the September 2024 security patch addresses 1 critical issue and 43 high-level ones for Google. One of these issues was already fixed in earlier updates, and another one doesn’t impact Galaxy devices. Also, Samsung is adding 23 of its fixes to improve security in My Files, Theme Center, One UI Home, Knox, and Dex.
