Samsung released the first preview of its Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta software to Galaxy devices earlier this month. The major software update delivered a lot of new features and changes to the Beta participants, alongside some bugs. Well, the second One UI 5.0 Beta brings back 6 Quick Settings layout!

Yesterday, the South Korean tech giant began releasing the second One UI 5.0 Beta update to the Galaxy S22 series users in the US, Germany and South Korea, as well as started the Beta program in India, the UK and Poland. While Beta 1 had only 5 toggles in Quick Settings, Beta 2 brings back the 6 toggles layout.

As Samsung has added back the 6th toggle in Quick Settings, we can now surely assume that the earlier change happened due to a bug, which is now fixed with Beta 2. Users of the Beta 1 are aware of that major change in the Notification panel as the UI ditched the 6th toggle from the first swipe menu.

Now, you can swipe down on the homescreen, and you will see the similar layout of toggles that you are seeing in Samsung Galaxies over the years. On the first swipe, the Notification panel will expand alongside the top 6 Quick Settings toggles, while the second swipe will let you access all available one-tap settings through pagination.

When One UI 5.0 will become “Stable”

With the launch of the Android 13 OS, Google confirmed that the major upgrade will be coming to the Galaxy devices later this year. At present, Samsung is testing the new OS on Galaxy S22 series devices, which are expected to get the Stable One UI 5.0 upgrade within two months.
