Entry-level Samsung Galaxy A04 launches – 50MP camera, 6.5-inch display

Samsung has now officially launched the Galaxy A04 smartphone with a bigger display, 50MP dual rear camera, large battery, Android 12 OS pre-installed, and a lot more at entry-level pricing.

The company has silently published all Galaxy A04 color variants alongside key specifications on the official website. The device features four color choices including Green, Black, White, and Copper.

The Galaxy A04 smartphone has a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, which the dimensions and weight are 164.4 x 76.3 x 9.1mm and 192g, respectively.

On the back, it packs a dual rear camera setup including a 50MP (F1.8) wide-angle camera and a 2MP (F2.4) depth lens, plus a 5MP (F2.2) shooter on the front for selfies and normal video calling.

The new entry-level Galaxy phone packs a mysterious “octa-core” processor paired with a 5000mAh battery, while memory variants include 4/6/8GB RAM and 32/64/128GB internal storage.

Samsung quoted on its official website that the RAM and internal memory capacity may vary by carrier. Also, the actual storage availability may vary depending on pre-installed software.

Pre-equipped with Android 12-based One UI Core 4.1 software, the Galaxy A04 could get two major OS upgrades, similar to other budget phones as well as four years of regular security patches, quarterly.

The phone supports an LTE network, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4+5GHz, and Bluetooth® v 5.0 connectivity functions alongside Accelerometer, Light Sensor, and Proximity sensors.

Note: Samsung has not confirmed release date and price of Galaxy A04.
