Google has released a new update for the Play Store app with versions 31.9.20 and 32.0.20. After updating the latest version, you may notice that the Check for Update button will appear.

With the latest update, the search giant fixed the issue that was not allowing users to check for Google Play system updates. According to the information, The company will fix this issue automatically in the future, till then you can install the latest version of the Play Store.

Samsung phones no longer have a “Check for update” button to check for new August 2022 Google Play system updates. As of now, it’s not confirmed whether it’s an intentional behavior change or the Galaxy phones lost the necessary button due to an issue.

Not only Samsung Galaxies, but Google Pixel, Xiaomi, and Nothing phone owners have also reported the same thing, reports 9to5Google. So far, consumers need to head towards the phone’s Settings, followed by Biometric and security option and Google Play system update.

Here, the phone shows information about the latest Google Play system patch on your device. If the device has a new Google Play system update available it prompts you to Download and install. In case of no new update, there was a button entitled “Check for update,” which is no longer available there.

It looks like, it’s not happened due to any issue or bug, while Google removed an extra page from to make the Google Play system update installation a bit faster. Now, if the device has a new Play system update, it will directly show you the button to Download and install.
