Samsung has started dispatching the August 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy A32 smartphone users. The update is releasing South Korean markets at the moment, however, it will reach other regions all over the world, shortly.

  • Samsung Galaxy A32 users are receiving September 2022 update in India, which installs the August 2022 security patch for system security improvement. Identified via version A325FXXU2BVH1, the installation package size of this update is approx 300MB.
    In addition, some stock apps including Samsung Notes, SmartThings, Calculator, and Pay also been updated to the latest version.

  • Samsung is now releasing the August 2022 security patch update to the Galaxy A32 smartphone users in Russia. It comes with build number A325FXXU2BVH1, and the changelog mentions stability and system security improvements.

To download the latest software update on your Galaxy device, navigate to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. Tap the Download button when the available update is appeared and simply follow the instruction shown on your screen to get access to the new changes.

Although, the changelog for the update does not mention the new changes and improvements that these app upgrades carry. This could be related to stability enhancements to resolve the problem of app crashing and slow app loading.

Some specific functionalities of some of these apps might have also been improved as you will notice after installing the August patch on your phone.

On the other flip, the company’s August security patch details reveal fixes for various privacy and security-related issue and vulnerabilities that affect users’ experience.

These vulnerabilities include over a dozen of CVEs found in Google and 31 exposures affecting Samsung apps and One UI. And these exposure solutions are related to Samsung Dialer, Bluetooth connectivity, DesktopSystemUI, Wi-Fi service, Samsung DeX, and others.

Galaxy A32:

Pre-installed with Android 11 OS, the Samsung Galaxy A32 was launched last year. The device received its first major OS update as Android 12-based One UI 4.0 and is currently running on the One UI 4.1 version.

Next, the phone will receive Android 13-based One UI 5.0 which might be publically released in October. At this time, One UI 5.0 is in the beta phase that is being tested by Galaxy S22 series users in some countries.

Samsung has pushed an April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in Korea. This update enhances system security and stability as well as adds new features for a better user experience.

April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series in Korea brings Mobile ID support for the Samsung Wallet app. Through this update, users can save and use their government-issued mobile driver’s license and national veterans registration card on their phones.

However, only IC cards with a mobile ID icon can be added. Users can use it anywhere just like your real ID. In addition, the update also applies the Google security patch to enhance the performance
