Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. At the time of launch, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro price and available in many countries and now it has been revealed in India.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is the latest offering in the section and comes with a lot of new features and slight changes in design over the previous version. Thus, the company has made a major hike in the prices.
According to the information, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro carries a price tag of INR 17,999 in India. It is available for pre-bookings and will be available in the country starting August 16. You can purchase it through Samsung.com and other retail stores.
Samsung India is also offering a cashback of INR 3,000 from leading banks on earbuds purchases, which will bring down the device’s price to INR 14,999. On the other hand, the customers who pre-book the product can buy the Samsung Wireless Charger Pad worth INR 2,999 at a discounted price of INR 499.
Customers can also avail of easy finance options and get up to INR 3,000 off by exchanging their old Galaxy earbuds. It’s worth mentioning that the device is available in Bora Purple, Graphite, and White color options in India.

New Google Weather app available for Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and 4 series (Wear OS 3)
Google is launching its first smartwatch – Pixel Watch today, while the entire Wear OS ecosystem getting fruitful changes and updates. Google has now listed a new Weather app on the Play Store for all smartwatches running Wear OS 3+, including the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 4 lineup.
The new Google Weather app features a simple feed layout along with following the latest Material guidance for Wear OS. Through the app, you can see the weather of your current location with the city noted at the top under a curved time, reports 9to5Google.
In the user interface, you will get temperature and condition numbers with up and down icons on the left and right sides. Meanwhile, the “Current UV index” is noted in a pill-shaped container, which is color-coded, while any precipitation appears next.
Apart from this, the Weather app showcases a forecast for the “Next 8 hours” and “Next 5 days.” And you can use the bottom area to refresh the app with new data, change units, and get info directly from weather.com, similar to the Android app, widgets, Google Search and Smart Displays.
Post initial installation of the app, you will be required to grant the Weather app the “Allow all the time” Location permission. While it’s just a basic addition to the Wear OS capabilities, it will surely benefit users by providing them with a few more stats (like AQI), as well as multicity support.

Samsung Wear OS smartwatches to get Google Home, Personal Safety apps
It’s known that Google is working on bringing Google Photos Watch Face to the Wear OS smartwatches. Now the Wear OS Google Photos watch face alongside Google Home and Personal Safety apps have appeared on Google Play Store, suggesting their early arrival.
Tipster Mishaal Rahman has recently shared the screenshots of the Google Photos, Google Home, and Personal Safety apps on the Wear OS that he tool from Play Store. He also suggets that these Wear OS applications will launch alongside the Pixel Watch next week.
Google Photos watch face:
Google Photos is a watch face for Wear OS devices that will allow users to set single or multiple personal photos as their watch faces. As per the information, you can set your photos that will have a circular crop based on the design of the watch.
You will meet two configurations including Date/Date and Time that can be added on top of the watch face. It is also reported to provide users with the ability to cycle through the selected images throughout the day.

Google Home app:
Wear OS Google Home app likely features a card list design, with smart home devices listed inside a rounded rectangle. It also includes an icon background color, device name, and room name.
It will also offer the ability to easily increase or decrease the temperature and adjust the brightness using the “+” and “-” buttons. In addition to this, there is also a security notification of “Person seen” in one of the screenshots.
Personal Safety app:
The informer further shows the screenshots of the Personal Safely app for Wear OS devices. It will reportedly help customers call a predefined emergency contact or service.
Furthermore, currently, there is no information on which Wear OS smartwatches will get the Google Photos, Google Home, and Personal Safety apps. Since the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 are running the latest version of Google’s Wear OS, it’s expected that these wearables will also get it in the coming time.
Google Wallet double-click shortcut reappears for Galaxy Watch (Wear OS)
Google always keeps its Wear OS smartwatch users updated with the latest features and functions. As the company replaced the Google Pay app with Google Wallet for smartphones, it did the same for Wear OS running smartwatches. However, Wear OS device owners have started encountering the issue that the Google Wallet double-click shortcut is not working, fortunately, it is now fixed.
A couple of months ago, Google released a new update to the Wear OS Google Pay app, which replaced the app with the Wallet app and made it available to more Wear OS-based smartwatch users.
