Samsung One UI 5 Quick panel has new accessibility options

Samsung has recently finished the Galaxy Unpacked event and launched the next-gen foldable smartphone, which introduces Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1. On the other hand, just a week ago, Samsung released the first One UI 5 Beta which brings a lot of new and improved features including the Quick Panel that gets new accessibility options.

Whether it’s Android or iOS, every smartphone has a Quick settings panel that lets you instantly access and use various functions of your device. The Galaxy Quick Panel has Airplane Mode, Wi-Fi, Eye comfort shield, Smart View, NFC, QR Code scanner, Link to Windows, Dolby Atmos, Dark mode, Kids mode, and much more.

Meanwhile, with the One UI 5 beta update, the Samsung Quick panel is getting improved with the addition of new accessibility options. This addition provides users with more control over their devices and lets them use many more features of their phone with a tap.

According to the official information, Samsung brings the ability to add and use High contrast font, Color inversion, Color adjustment, and Color filter features to the Quick Panel. These are some of the use Samsung features that help in enhancing the display viewing.

1. High contrast font: It makes all text black or white depending on the background color and adds a black outline to the white text to make it easier to read.

2. Color inversion: You can change your display to a dark background by using a dark theme or color inversion.

3. Color adjustment: It optimizes the color range, saturation, and sharpness of the picture depending on what you’re watching or doing.

4. Color filter: It will add a colored tint to the screen which adds a cool effect. It has a variety of color options such as Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, etc.

Aside from new features and many major changes, it’s really great that Samsung is working on this side as well. If you regularly use these features to set the display setting according to the environment or what you are viewing, you can add them to the quick panel so you won’t need to enter Settings to apply the new changes.

To add these features to your Galaxy S22 running One UI 5 beta, scroll down from any screen to open the Quick Panel >> tap the three-dot menu >> and tap the Edit buttons. Here you will see the High contrast font, Color inversion, Color adjustment, and Color filter features, just tap, hold, and drag the icons to the quick panel and it’s done.
