Just a couple of days and we’ll meet the next-gen Samsung Galaxy foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. But a new piece of information is starting to appear online that I find more exciting and that is the Samsung foldable tablet.
Yes, Samsung is performing on bringing its first ever foldable tablet to the market, and that too sooner. Naver reports that the Korean tech will introduce this foldable tablet alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 next year.
Although at this time, there’s no more information on the matter nor there’s any hint on when the Galaxy Tab S9 will arrive. Considering the company’s launch schedules, the Galaxy Tab S9 series should introduce in early 2023, around January or February, and so the Galaxy foldable tablet.
This year, Samsung introduced the three Galaxy Tab S8 models alongside the Galaxy S22 series in February. It looks like in 2023 too the company will follow the same path and introduce its next-generation tablets alongside the Galaxy S23 launch at Galaxy Unpacked 2023.
Samsung previously said that it’s glimpsing at making the foldables mainstream. It looks like the company is really serious about these words thus aside from the Fold and Flip category of phones, it is also working on foldable tablets.
Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4 launch closure:
Samsung is holding a big Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10 to introduce the all-new Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. The new devices are coming with some latest technologies to set a new standard for foldable phones.
The devices will come pre-packed with Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 OS that has a bunch of features specially designed for large-screen devices so that customers will not have to face any inconvenience while using their phones single handily.
Is Google Pixel 7 really a competitor of Samsung Galaxy S22?
The newly launched Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are somewhat comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ devices as they come with heavy specs and that too at a relatively low cost. Whereas, in terms of design, both the Pixel 7 and Galaxy S22 follow a familiar theme as their respective predecessors.
Google Pixel 7 Specs:
Google Pixel 7 comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. Whereas, the Galaxy S22 devices feature a 120Hz refresh rate that delivers smoother scrolling.
Both devices sport different chipsets. While the Pixel 7 comes with Tensor G2 developed by Google, the Galaxy S22 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200.
Google is using a familiar 50MP main camera alongside a 12MP ultra-wide shooter and 10.8MP selfie camera in Pixel 7 devices. Meanwhile, the biggest upgrade in Pixel 7 pro is the new 48MP 5x telephoto zoom camera. Although the phones missed a rear-facing telephoto camera.
The most interesting part is always the software of Google and Samsung phones. Both devices come with the latest Android software of their respective ages. However, Samsung devices will receive more Android OS upgrades than Google phones. At the same time, both brands offer 5 years of security patches to their devices.
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ sport a 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charge support and a 4500mAh battery with 45W fast charge capability, respectively. Meanwhile, the new Pixel smartphones hold a 4,355mAh battery with 30W charging support. Notably, Samsung’s 25W capability is more powerful than Google’s 30W.
Both Samsung and Google flagships hold onto great features like IP68 ratings, stereo speakers, and premium materials, but there are no headphone jacks.
The Pixel devices are available at the starting price of $599 for the 256GB variant. In comparison, you have to give $799 (or $749 online) to purchase the standard Galaxy S22.
Is Google Pixel 7 really a competitor of Samsung Galaxy S22?
Probably yes. Google Pixel 7 series is giving tough competition to Samsung Galaxy S22 phones. The new devices come with notable spec sheets at a low price point. But this will not put much impact on Samsung because the Pixel 7 is available in a very limited market compared to Galaxy S22.
Anyways, the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are now available for pre-order. If interested, you can go to the official Google Shop to pre-order your new Pixel smartphone.

The company is reportedly considering to reduce the curved edges of the Galaxy S23 Ultra in order to gain more peak brightness on the panel, while, a flatter screen will comparatively more durable than the existing S22 Ultra model.
As per the previous reports, Samsung will ship the Galaxy S23 series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset in every country, including Europe. Some officials want the Galaxy S23 line should have Exynos variants too but, Snapdragon is far away when it comes to performance and stability.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra to feature extremely thin bezels
After the launch of new Samsung foldable phones, everyone’s eye is on the upcoming Galaxy S23 series. We are continuously seeing new leaks of smartphone that suggests us their features and design. Meanwhile, a new piece of information comes out that suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature extremely thin bezels.
Recently, a reliable tipster named Ice Universe shared the image of the front and rear sides of the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone. The image is showcased in a light color to provide us with a more accurate look at the screen bezels.
We can clearly see that Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has thin very thin bezels as compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Alongside this, the screen has the same punch hole for a selfie shooter. Overall the screen looks beautiful.
Previously, report revealed that the bezel dimensions of the device will convert to 2.4mm x 1.9mm from 2.3mm x 2.6mm.
The obvious benefit of reducing the bezel is an increase in screen size. With a thinner bezel, the screen takes up more of the display to make your phone look bigger and more immersive. It is also good for multitasking as you get more part of your screen to place two or more app windows.
Furthermore, just to remind you, recently we saw the renders of the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone that suggets that the device will feature the same design as its predecessor but there are still some minor changes that enrich the look of the smartphone.
As per the information, the upcoming device features a less curved display, which is close to a flat screen and it will offer users an even brighter display panel. In addition to these, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has bigger camera outlines, which look more clear and more pleasant.
At the same time, the middle body frame of the phone is expanded whereas, the side edges are flattered to give a refreshed look to the device.
