Samsung is expanding the Galaxy S22 series August 2022 Android security patch alongside a new software update in the US. This update is released for the carrier-unlocked unit in the United States, however, it will reach the carrier-locked models very soon.

If you are one of the eligible users, you can check and download this update by navigating to the Settings of your phone. From here enter the Software update section and tap the Download and install option. After waiting for a while, a new update will appear, hit the download button to download it.
