Seems like, Samsung has delayed the One UI 5 Beta program for the Galaxy devices as Google shifted the official Android 13 launch to September. Meanwhile, a screenshot, shared by a Reddit user, suggests that T-Mobile US is testing the Android 13 firmware on the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

According to the information, Checkfirm detected a new test firmware for the Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone (US variant). The CSC code and build version suggest that the build belongs to a T-Mobile branded Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone and bring a major One UI upgrade, possibly the Android 13-based One UI 5.0.

Talking specifically about the latest addition, the Galaxy S21 Ultra Android 13 internal testing might be underway by T-Mobile carrier in the US. It’s worth mentioning that the carrier also allows its locked variants to participate in the Beta testing activity.

As you can see in the screenshot mentioned above, the build version of the new testing software is G998USQU5DVG2, while the latest available build for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone is G998USQU5CVDB.

One UI 5.0 or One UI 4.1.1

Yes, it might be a test build of the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 as well instead of the One UI 5.0, based on Android 13. Various Samsung apps got updates with support for the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 version, therefore, the Galaxy S21 series might get the Android 12L ahead of the Android 13 on the Stable channel.
