Earlier also, we could easily share and enjoy our photos and videos with family and friends but a Samsung account was required to use this feature but now we don’t need it.
How to use it?
To use this feature, you have to follow the steps mentioned below.
- Open the Gallery app on your Galaxy smartphone.
- Tap on the Menu option at the bottom right corner.
- Click on the Shared Album feature.
- If you haven’t created any shared albums yet, create a new shared album by tapping the Plus button in the upper right corner.
- Choose the Shared Album and click three vertical dots on the top right to display the option.
- Click on the Share link to album option and share it wherever you want.
The Album link option is off by default, so you have to turn on this. After turning on this option, the album link button will be added to the top right menu of the shared album. Now, your friends or family members can easily view the album on a web browser.
To be mentioned, the link is valid only for 30 days if the album link option is on. If the user who created the shared album turns off the album link option, the link will expire immediately.

One UI 6 Good Lock
As Samsung teased the One UI 6 and Good Lock’s news together, we expect the customization suite may also get an early launch. Notably, most of the Good Lock plugins will stop working following the Beta software installation, which requires major code changes to resume operation.
The company may introduce One UI 6 Beta next month, starting with the Galaxy S23 series. Good Lock will not be compatible with the Android 14 OS due to which, some plugins and stops will no longer remain accessible. Therefore, you will have to wait until stable software, followed by major app updates.
