What is Samsung Notification panel?

A Notification Panel is a place on your smartphone that lets you quickly access alerts, notifications, and shortcuts. It is hidden on the top of your screen but can be accessed by swiping your finger from the top to the bottom of the screen from any menu or application.

It further lets you expand the notification to view additional information, reply to a conversation, block/mute notifications, and more.

Samsung One UI 4.1 Notification panel:

No doubt, Samsung One UI 4.1 is the best custom OS available for Galaxy phones. It brought multiple new features along with countless changes. The notification panel on One UI 4.1 now has a neat and clean interface.

With One UI 4.1, the company brought the ability to show the Brightness controller on the notification panel itself. It means you can easily control the brightness of your phone, without opening quick settings panel.

Samsung One UI 5.0 Notification panel:

Along with all the One UI 4.1 notification panel features, the upcoming Samsung One UI 5.0 Notification panel will have subtle changes in design as compared to the One UI 4.1 and 4.0. The company has tried to deliver a clearer look while keeping a separate space for different groups of apps or priority ones.

One UI 5.0 Notification panel’s app icons have received minor optimizations such as a new solid round background shape. At the same time, the notification shade and quick settings also have a slight tweak to opacity.

Although these changes aren’t major but Samsung has really worked to bring users a clearer and more effective notification panel.
