Samsung is gearing up to introduce its two new flagship foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. While the company is yet to reveal any launch date, it seems that we won’t have to wait for too long as both Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 have appeared on the NBTC database.
The NBTC (Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification site clearly mentions the devices’ names as Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 and lists them with model numbers SM-F936B and SM-F721B respectively.
Besides these, the listing doesn’t reveal any key features or specifications of the phones. However, visiting on NBTC certification site is an important step taken before the launch of any phone. It hints that the phones will soon go official.
It should be mentioned that the two upcoming foldable are said to launch on August 10. So far, we have come to know much information about the specifications, color variants, storage variants, and design of the phones.
Alike the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, the fourth generation of Galaxy foldables will also come with a new version of Samsung’s One UI which is One UI 4.1.1. However, the interesting part is that the One UI 4.1.1 will be based on Android 12, instead is established on Android 12L, which is specially optimized for large screen devices.
Samsung working on 1-inch camera with in-sensor crop zoom: Rumor
Samsung shipped its 200-megapixel camera with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Moving ahead, the company is expected to ship the next two S Ultra flagships with enhanced variants of its 200-megapixel sensor. A new leak reveals that Samsung is also working on a 1-inch ISOCELL camera sensor.
Tipster @Tech_Reve revealed that Samsung is working on a 1-inch ISOCELL camera sensor with 0.8µm pixels, dual-pixel autofocus, and in-sensor crop zoom. Apart from these details, the tipster hasn’t revealed the model number of this image sensor.
Earlier, the same source disclosed that the South Korean tech giant would bring a significant camera upgrade to the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. These flagships are said to introduce a new Sony image sensor, ditching the conventional ISOCELL camera.
Galaxy S25 to feature new Sony Camera rather than Samsung ISOCELL
Countless leaks and rumors revealed most of the things about the Galaxy S24 series. In a recent development, a new leak indicates that Samsung is ditching the ISOCELL image sensor in favor of a new Sony Camera on its upcoming Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus.
According to tipster Revegnus, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus smartphones might not use an ISOCELL camera sensor, with an upgrade to a new Sony Camera solution expected. It’s worth noting that there’s no camera hardware upgrade in the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus.
Great news: The S25 and S25+ will no longer use the dreadful GN3 sensor; instead, they will feature Sony’s image sensor. I’m very happy! https://t.co/P6pxMEmyMl
