Samsung has rolled out the July 2022 Android security patch update to a bunch of Galaxy phones. While the company is yet to deliver the latest update to Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite July 2022 update is already out.

According to the new information, the latest update is releasing in some European markets including Spain at the time and will reach more users in the coming days or weeks. As of now, European users can identify it via the One UI build version G770FXXS6GVG1.

Samsung’s July 2022 patch details on the other hand mention fixes for dozens of privacy and security-related issues and exploits. The official support page reveals these vulnerabilities include 3 critical and 20 high levels of CVE and SVE items from Google and Samsung.
Galaxy S10 Lite One UI 5.0:
The top-end variants of the Galaxy S10 series including S10, S10+, and S10e are not eligible for the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. However, their trimmed-down version – Galaxy S10 Lite will get the update as it is yet to receive its 3rd major Android OS update.
Ahead of the One UI 5.0, the device will get Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1, which will further bring improvements over the current One UI 4.1 custom OS. We may also see a few new features and customization options with One UI 4.1.1 in a coming couple of months.
How to update the software:
If you are using a Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone in Europe, you can now get access to the latest security patch by downloading the update through the Settings of your phone.
Once you enter the Settings, head over to the Software update section followed by the Download and install. Simply follow the few simple steps mentioned on the screen and it’s done.
