Samsung Always On Display is a feature that allows you to check time, date, notifications, missed calls, battery level, and other information without unlocking your Galaxy device. Now, Samsung is enhancing its Always On Display feature by releasing a new update with version 7.1.98.4.

The update brings fixes for Clock Style and Widgets behavior related to today’s schedule. Aside from this, this update also includes some general improvements to enhance the overall performance of the app.
To be mentioned, this update is compatible with Galaxy devices running on Android 12 based on One UI 4.1/One UI 4.0 or below. The update is currently rolling out in South Korea and will expand to other regions soon. It is an initial rollout so it may take some time/days to reach all eligible devices.

Users of Galaxy devices in South Korea can install this update via Galaxy Store. If you don’t know, then open Galaxy Store >>tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) >> Updates option >> here you will get all the available updates, you can install any of them.
How to enable Always On Display on your Galaxy smartphone?
Users of Galaxy devices can easily enable AOD by following the steps mentioned below.
- Visit the Settings app on your Samsung device.
- Click on the Lock screen.
- Tap on Always On Display.
- Tap the switch at the top of the screen to turn it on.
- Choose the mode that best suits your needs.
