Now the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 June 2022 security update is reaching US users. This update brings fixes for around 66 privacy and security-related issues and exploits, which includes 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs in addition to 1 already included and 2 not applicable on One UI.

Other than these, the firmware only brings improvements to system security and stability, which further helps in enhancing the device’s performance. You might also notice improvements for common issues such as app crashing, system lagging, etc.

Moving on, the latest update for your Galaxy Z Fold 2 is rolling out with the One UI build version F916U1UES2GVEA. It’s worth mentioning that the update is live only for the carrier-unlocked models in the US and as usual, the company won’t take much to spread it to carrier-locked variants.
Anyway, to download this update on your phone, navigate to the Settings of your phone. Now click on Software update and tap Download and install. Your device will check for available updates and if available, click the Download button.
After successful download, choose Install now or Schedule install according to your preferences. Once, installed the phone will reboot and start initial app optimizations.

According to Samsung, the Expert RAW camera app for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 was scheduled to be released in June. However, due to some unknown reasons, the company has delayed the launch.

Advanced Auto Blocker now available on Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series
Samsung has released the November 2024 update for Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which adds a new Auto Blocker feature. The update is now rolling out for users in South Korea after the release in the US.
With the November 2024 update, when Auto Blocker is enabled with Maximum restrictions on your Galaxy Tab S10 model, USB devices will be blocked from connecting to the tablet, except for charging purposes.
The Maximum Restrictions mode provides extra strong protection for people who need more security. Some of your phone’s features will be restricted. Other devices won’t be able to connect to your phone using a USB cable. It can prevent others from accessing your data if they have physical access to your phone.
Aside from this new feature, the November 2024 security patch fixes 52 vulnerabilities across Android and Samsung’s software. Google has resolved 38 high-priority issues, while one CVE is not relevant to Galaxy devices.
Moreover, Samsung’s patches include fixes for 13 vulnerabilities related to user profiles, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, Settings, and Maintenance Mode. These fixes aim to enhance both the security and performance of Galaxy devices.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra should install the update to enjoy this security feature. They can identify the latest update via the One UI build version X92xNKOS2AXJ7 and an installation package size of around 350MB.
To check the update, you just need to navigate to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.
