A few days ago, Samsung began rolling out the June 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy A12 Nacho smartphones and now the company is releasing the latest software update for the standard Galaxy A12 in South America.

This update carries improvements for system security and stability to provide users with seamless and uninterrupted performance. As per the new information, the Samsung Galaxy A12 June 2022 update also comes with multiple privacy and security-related issues and exploits.

However, the official support page mentions fixes for 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs from Samsung and Google. These are related to improper access control, SIM card data access, camera access, Wi-Fi, Samsung account, Bluetooth, and others.

Besides these, there is nothing that the Samsung Galaxy A12 June update brings for the users. However, users will not have to wait for too long to get access to the completely new features as the device is eligible for Android 12-based One UI 4 and will soon grab it.

Anyway, the latest update for the device holds the One UI build version A125MUBS3BVF1. It is released in Brazil at the moment, however, the company will soon release it to more users.

As soon as your phone will get a new software update it will notify you. In case you have not received any notification or missed it, you can go to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install to check the update manually. Now follow the mentioned patch to install it on your device.

Samsung has begun rolling out the July 2024 security update for the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The update is currently live for users in Europe and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

July 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra can be identified through the One UI build version ending with BXG7.

The latest patch contains the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), combining patches from Google and Samsung. Google addresses 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android.

Samsung has also fixed 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) related to components like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security.

It is an initial rollout so it may take some days to reach all Galaxy Tab S9 models. It is the first Galaxy Tab series to receive the July 2024 update. You can check and install the update to enjoy enhanced functions on your smartphone.

To install the update, users just need to download around 400MB package. For installtion, open Settings and tap on the Software update option. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Aside from the security update, Samsung is preparing to start the One UI 6.1.1 update rollout for Galaxy devices including the Galaxy Tab S9 series. This update will bring several new features and enhancements to provide a next-level experience.

Some of the highlighted features of One UI 6.1.1 are Sketch to Image, AI Portrait Studio, Auto Zoom, enhanced Note Assist, Instant Full-screen translation, conversation mode for dual screen, Suggested replies, Photo Ambient, and more.
